We use the Swimming Teacher Association (STA) awards to show progression at SCP Swim School.

The STArfish awards are designed to introduce babies and toddlers to a water adventure where confidence and safety skills are introduced.
Progressive awards for Baby/Toddler classes (aged 0 – 3 years):
STArfish levels 1 and 2
STArfish levels 3 and 4
STArfish level 5

The STAnley awards are designed to teach learners from 2 years basic swimming and water safety skills.
Progressive awards are for children aged 3-5 years who are non-swimmers:
STAnley levels 1 and 2/a>
SRAnley levels 3 and 4

Sonning Common Awards (after school swimmers)
The teaching criteria show how children progress from non-swimmers (level 1) to being able to swim 10m (level 4)

We award 5 meter badges : swimming 5m front paddle with breathing (face in) and swimming 5m back paddle
and 10m badges : swimming 10m Front Crawl and swimming 10m Back Crawl.
