Admissions

You can always be assured of a warm welcome here at Sonning Common Primary. We will be advertising our Open Days (normally in October, November and December) for September 2027 entry soon, and you can book a personal tour of the school by appointment or look at our virtual tour.  Please see Visit SCPS for more details. We look forward to meeting you and showing you why we are so proud of our school.

For parents new to our school we have a SCPS Parent Handbook.

Our Admissions are managed by Oxfordshire County Council and you can find more details including oversubscription criteria in our Admissions Policy. Parents of children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 (for entry into Reception (Kites) for September 2026) should now contact their local authority as the deadline for on time applications was 15th January 2026.

Parents of children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 (for entry in September 2027) will need to apply for a place from October 2026.
