Sonning Common Primary School has an on-site swimming pool which, as well as being used by the school, also offers lessons to the general public (adults and children from 6 months old) with Sonning Common Swim School (SCSS).

The SC Swim School aims to offer friendly, fun swimming lessons to produce confident swimmers with good skills and a real love of swimming; the start of a journey to being a happy and confident swimmer. The pool was refurbished in 2025 and the changing rooms were updated in 2026, the teachers are all ASA Level 2 trained and swimmers work towards the Swimming Teacher Association (STA) awards to show progression.
