Jelly Beans

by Year Six child on January 23, 2012

Last week and this week the giant jar of jelly beans has been going round all the classes. At a cost of 50 pence the pupils can make a guess of how many beans are in the jar. So far we have raised nearly £50, so a huge thankyou to everyone who has taken part so far.

The Trip…

by Year Six child on January 23, 2012

Last Monday year 6 went to the Imperial War Museum in London. We saw tanks, planes and lots of  the equipment that they used. We also went into the Blitz and Trenches experience. In the blitz we were taken into a shelter where we sang 10 green bottles, when we went in to the trenches the smell was pretty bad! We all had a great day and enjoyed every minute of it including the journey to the museum.

What we’re up to…..

by Year Six child on January 9, 2012

This term, ore topic is World War II. We will be learning about Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party. If you have any relitives or family friends involved in the war, we would love to hear about their stories or the tough times they had. To help us with the topic, we will be visiting the Imperial War Museum in London. We will be going by coach and you must be at school by 8:00. On Friday we will be re-starting Mandarine lessons, so remember your homework!

Hellos and Goodbyes…

by Year Six child on December 26, 2011

This year is going to be great. We are saying some hellos, to new
topics and new talking partners, and some goodbyes, like saying
goodbye to our amazing IT co-ordinator, Mr Lovegrove. We all wish
you the best in your new school and we’re very sad to see him go.
We are all looking forward to 2012, and have a very Merry Christmas!
