Forest Camp Assistant

We are looking for a Forest Camp assistant to join our Forest Camp team. You will help ensure that all our children experience outdoor learning as part of their school experience.
Hours: 12.15 to 3.20pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Term time only)

You will also provide lunchtime cover as part of our Outdoor Play and Learning team.

What we want in a new colleague:-
• Someone who really loves working as part of a team

• Someone who is prepared to be outside, regardless of the weather
• Some experience with primary-aged children is desirable
• A willingness to take on-board Forest Camp principles of child-lead learning
• An interest in outdoor education – lighting fires, cooking, using wood for crafts etc

Swimming Teachers

We are looking for swim teachers to work Tuesday afternoon (3.30-6.00pm) or Friday afternoon (12.00-5.00), term time only (34 weeks a year)

You’ll need to have:

• STA Award or Certificate level or Swim England Level 2 qualification
• National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches or equivalent
• Ideally Adult & Child qualification
• Knowledge of health, safety and other relevant legislation
• Understanding of Child Protection Policy
• A great sense of fun and passion for swimming
