Y4 had a special visitor this week- in the form of Mr Blumire, who came in to tell us all about his job role for the company “Rapha”. As part of their Design Technology lesson, the children were given the task (via a video link from the designer!) to create a new t-shirt design which was judged by the design team in their London office! The winning entries were Henry C, Amelia S, Carter S and Devon S. To our surprise, Mr Blumire also brought with him a Rapha “Wiggins” cycling shirt for each child as well as a sports bottle- we were all very grateful and thoroughly enjoyed finding out all about Rapha and the cyclists of Great Britain who wear the Rapha brand. Thank you Mr Blumire!
