On Friday 11th July our Y3/4 and Y5/6 Quad Kids teams competed in the Oxfordshire County Final at Tilsley Park in Abingdon. After several weather-related postponements had led to the South Oxfordshire competition being cancelled, the children were keen to return to their outdoor athletics season.  After the usual events of sprinting, distance running, jumping and vortex throwing, our Year 3/4 team came 7th out of ten teams, which was a great effort considering they didn’t have the experience of the South Oxfordshire Final to fall back on!

Our Year 5/6 team finished first and are now the Quad Kids Oxfordshire County Champions! Excellent performances from each member of the team saw us win the competition by a remarkable 85 points!

A big thank you to all of the children who have been involved with the Quad Kids clubs and teams this year, and many thanks to those who helped with transport and supported us on the day.
