The whole school gathered under the oak tree for a final assembly today to celebrate everyone who won trophies and headteacher awards. We waved goodbye and good luck to Miss Inchley, who is going to teach at a school in London, Ms Howey who is moving to a secondary school as an LSA, Miss Patrick who is going to university and Ms Ho who is moving. We bid a fond farewell to our Year 6 leavers and wish them all the best in their new secondary schools. Finally we said goodbye to Mr Hirst, our headteacher for the last 15 years, who retires at the end of the summer and we welcomed Mrs Salmons as our new headteacher from September.
