Non Uniform Day Friday 30th June

Just a reminder that tomorrow is non-uniform day, to support the PTA summer fair on Saturday 1st July.

Your children are invited to come to school in non-uniform for a donation (collected at the entrance tomorrow) which can include:

  • Bottles for the bottle tombola,
  • Jam jar filled with sweets or pocket money toys for the children’s tombola
  • Cakes to be sold on the cake stall (large cakes to be sold whole or sliced, or little individual cakes
  • 2nd hand toys (in good condition please) for the toy stall

Summer Fair Saturday 1st July
We hope to see you on Saturday from 12pm to 3pm. Don’t forget to bid in the auction, either in advance or in person on the day. To bid in advance please use this link: PTA Summer 2023 Auction Advance bidding closes on Friday 30th June at 21:00.

You can then bid in person at the summer fair (in person bidding closes at 14:45pm).

SCPS children will be performing at the Summer Fair:

  • 1.00pm Recorders
  • 1.15pm Maypole dancing (Y2)
  • 1.30pm Glee
  • 1.45pm Choir
  • 2.00pm Rabble Young Performance club.

Each year group will be running a stall including Splat the Rat, Football games and even a chance to soak a couple of Teachers!!! There’s also our massive summer raffle (please bring any unsold tickets back to be sold at the fair).

There will also be many external stall holders, including Carol Baker selling children’s toys, the Body Shop, Alister Philips with his wood turning, you can add some glimmer to your Summer Fair with Leave a little Sparkle, Tropics for all your skincare essentials, or relax your body and mind with The Holistic Flamingo to name just a few.

Pre School will be joining us with their facepainting skills, ice creams and a bouncy castle.
Bishopswood School will be tempting you with a Chocolate tombola and a bit of Bric-a-brac.
Dr Loader will be selling and personally signing his new book entitled Leila, find him under the canopy on the Playground.
The First responders will be showing us how we can provide lifesaving skills.
