At the start of the academic year, we introduced a new initiative called our ‘Big Thank You’. We felt that it was important to acknowledge and reward members of our team that have gone above and beyond the expectations of their role and so, each month, all SCPS staff have been able to nominate a colleague. Winners were then been picked at random and received a thank you reward.

We thought that you would like to know who the hard-working recipients have been so far and how they have gone above and beyond for our school.
September- Mrs Matthews for her hard work to ensure that everything was ready for the start of the school year.
October- Mrs Bray for her outstanding contributions to our carnival theme week.
November- Mrs Salmons for always putting others before herself and for always having time to listen.
December- Mrs Conway for all of the activities that she organises for the children as well as the fundraising for school.

We are very grateful for the generosity of the local businesses that have helped to support us with this initiative as it has meant that school has not incurred any costs. Thank you to The Packhorse in Mapledurham, Warings Bakery, Fourbears Bookshop in Caversham and Mapledurham Gym.
