Entries for On Your Bike 2019, held each year at Sonning Common Primary School, will open following the launch event at an assembly in front of the whole school on Wednesday 13 February 2019.

The fun, interactive assembly will hear a lively talk given by sponsors, AW Cycles and launch the countdown to the event, which this year is being held on 31 March 2019 at 10.00am.

This fun family cycling event has been running since 2008 and every year raises money for the school and a number of local charities. This year the chosen beneficiaries are Sonning Common Primary School, FISH (a local charity who run a befriending service for local elderly people) and the Sonning Common First Responders, a trained group of volunteers who deal with a wide range of potentially life- threatening conditions until the arrival of an ambulance. The event regularly attracts 500 cyclists of all ages to its 6, 12 or 20 mile circular rides and has raised more than £40,000 since its start.
