All parents are automatically members of the SCPS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting on Monday 20th January 2025 at 7.30pm in the School Hall.

The AGM is the opportunity for the committee to summarise activity over the past year and to outline plans for the future. We are always looking for support from members for the events we run during the year, but there is no obligation to sign up to anything just come and listen, your views are important to us and to the school.

We have asked our new head Mrs Salmons, her leadership team and some of the school governors to join the meeting. After the formal business of the AGM, Mrs Salmons will outline her plans, after which there will be a chance for us to ask questions and make suggestions. Communication between parents and the school always has room for improvement and we hope you will appreciate this as an important forum for that.

Sonning Common has always prided itself on being a partnership between staff, parents, governors and children. We hope that this event will enhance and deepen that partnership.
