Dr Loader and Mr Burrows were delighted to take ten young cricketers to a tournament at Shiplake College this morning.  There were nine primary schools represented, on a beautiful morning on Shiplake’s main lawn.

It was such a pleasure for us to be supervising such a great bunch of players.  They played hard, they encouraged each other.  There wasn’t a single cross word spoken.  And they congratulated or commiserated properly with each team after each game.  They really stood out for their sportsmanship, and deserved their spell high up in the trees after the competition – as guests of the Big Tree Climbing Company.
