This week our updating team has changed slightly. Melody, Maya Harry and I are giving it a break and four new members from year 6 are stepping up to the plate! Last week and this week the giant jar of jelly beans has been going round all the classes. At a cost of 50 pence the pupils can make a guess of how many beans are in the jar. So far we have raised nearly £50, so a huge thankyou to everyone who has taken part so far.

We are going on a school trip to Townlands hospital on the 22nd February to learn life-saving techniques. Also, many people are going to Wokingham to take part in a dance contest to raise money for the Red Cross.

Last Monday year 6 went to the Imperial War Museum in London. We saw tanks, planes and lots of the equipment that they used. We also went into the Blitz and Trenches experience. In the blitz we were taken into a shelter where we sang 10 green bottles, when we went in to the trenches the smell was pretty bad! We all had a great day and enjoyed every minute of it including the journey to the museum.
