What amazing weather for October! Let’s all enjoy it while we can!

This week we will be starting to learn about the weather and seasonal change. We’ll be keeping daily records of our own weather observations as well as looking at what kinds of things are happening around us in autumn. We will also be enjoying autumn stories like ‘Leaf Man’ and ‘The Leaf Thief’ and looking more closely at how the leaves are changing.

In PHSE we will be learning about how to recognise different emotions in ourselves and others.

Maths this week is all about comparing numbers and using language such as ‘more than’, ‘greater than’, ‘less than’, ‘fewer than’ and ‘equal to’. We will also be learning the symbols that can be used alongside this language <, > and =.

Forest Camp on Monday afternoon is for the Air and Earth teams. There is no swimming on Wednesday, and no PE on Friday because of the INSET day.
