On Tuesday we made our annual trip to Wheatley Park secondary school to compete in the South Oxfordshire Final – the last round of the indoor athletics season – against seven other schools from our region.

Once all of the usual running and relay races, standing, triple and vertical jumps, javelin throwing, chest pushing and speed bouncing had finished, the final standings were read out.

We are delighted to announce that we are South Oxfordshire champions again – due reward for a superb performance from each and every member of the squad as well as a testament to all of their hard work in their training sessions throughout the winter months!
