Teaching assistant
Come and join our friendly, vibrant primary school and gain experience in working with children to support them in class, at Forest Camp, in swimming lessons and on trips. We are looking for energetic, positive people who would enjoy working with children and being part of a large, sociable team of adults.
The role is term time only (38 weeks per year) and negotiable hours Monday to Friday 9-3:20pm, and you will be paid at Grade 4 (£12.65-£12.85 depending on scale point).
You will need to be flexible, reliable and have GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). Experience of working with children desirable but not essential.

Lunchtime supervisor
We are recruiting for a lunchtime supervisor. You would be expected to supervise lunches either in the hall or in classrooms or supervise play on either the KS1 or KS2 playgrounds.
The role is term time only (38 weeks per year). The hours are from 12 noon to 1:15pm from one to five days a week.
Salary is currently £11.59/hr (set to rise when the annual pay award is agreed)
You’ll need to have:
The ability to communicate clearly with children and staff
The ability to motivate and positively interact with children
The ability to engage children in cooperative play
The ability to settle disputes between children fairly and calmly
The ability to react calmly and appropriately in an emergency with the health and safety of pupils a prime concern
