On Tuesday 5th March the year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics team travelled to Wheatley Park School for the South Oxfordshire Final. Just like last year, there would be no County Final to attend, so this would be our only chance to win an indoor athletics trophy this year.

After lots of running, jumping, throwing and speed bouncing, it is with tremendous delight that we can say that we have retained our trophy and are still the indoor athletics champions of South Oxfordshire!

We would like to thank all the parents who have made sure that their child is awake bright and early on those freezing cold winter mornings to help us practise. Your support is always hugely appreciated!

We would also like to thank Mr Andrews, Mrs Salmons and Mr Witcomb for training the team, as well as each and every one of the children for their efforts and achievements as part of our squad this year.
