Space to learn, grow and be inspired

I am sorry that I got messy today but…

We wanted to take the time to apologise for all of the extra washing that you have been doing since your child started in Kites. We understand that it can be frustrating when your child comes home with a dirty jumper (again!) but hope that, after reading this, those stains become a little more forgivable.

At SCPS, we encourage creativity, being inquisitive, being independent, trying new things and, most of all, having fun. Although the stains may just appear as mess, what they represent is so much more. The sauce stain is from your child becoming more independent and cutting up their own lunch. The paint stain is from an exploration of colour when painting. The mud stain is from working with a new friend to make a delicious meal in the outdoor kitchen. Each one of these activities helps your child learn, develop relationships and make memories. The washing and stains are annoying but we hope that you support the reasons for the ‘mess’.

Once again, thank you for your continued support.
