We have had a great week back after the holidays and are looking forward to next week. In Literacy, we will continue to base our work around ‘The Disgusting Sandwich’. In Maths, we will be starting a new topic, ‘Money’. Our key vocabulary will be- pay, change, coins, amount, notes, pence, price, pound, spend. If you would like to support your child with his at home, why not give them responsibility for paying for items in a shop. You could also set up a shop at home. Label items and take it in turns to be the shopkeeper and customer. To challenge your child, give them coins which require them to work out the change of the item. Alternatively, here are some games online that they might enjoy playing
