Welcome Back

It has been lovely having everyone back in class and hearing about lots of wonderful activities over the winter break! The whole Year 4 team would like to thank you for all the kind and generous gifts. We will be well stocked with chocolate for some time! It is all very appreciated and we hope you had a memorable Christmas and New Years with your families.

Weather

The weather is very cold this week, we ended our first rugby lesson in a snowstorm! Children are very welcome to wear gloves, hats, scarves and thick coats (although not in the classrooms) and we would really recommend that they have that option in their bag, even if they don’t feel like wearing it in the morning. Please ensure that everything is NAMED however, as one black glove looks suspiciously like every other black glove and unnamed items are far less likely to make their way back to you.

Homework

Well done to everyone who managed to complete some homework over the holidays. The Times Tables check is rapidly approaching and we really need all children to complete their homework each week. Children must c0mplete 10 TTRS games, 10 spelling shed games and read 4 times with a grown up.
