I hope you had a lovely half term, welcome back to Term 6! Here is a reminder of what we are covering next week:

In Maths, we will continue looking at tallies, block diagrams, tables and pictograms.

In Literacy, we will learn how to write a recount, in preparation to our school trip.

In Geography, we begin our new topic ‘Seasides’.

In ICT, we will work on coding, using the program ‘Kodable’.

In Science, we start our new topic ‘Animals including Humans’.

In PE, we will start preparing for Sport’s Day.

Please wear PE kit on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please name school hoodies as these are easily misplaced and picked up by the wrong child.

Owls have Forest Camp on Tuesday. Please ensure all children return to school with their named, cleaned kit.

Year 2 have swimming on Wednesday. Please ensure they bring named kit, including towels.

On Monday, we have a visit from Amazing Animals!

The optional half term challenge is to use recycled materials and junk modelling to make a sculpture. It could be a tall tower, robot, vehicle, or anything else you can imagine! You may bring it in school or a photograph of the sculpture for 3 team points!
