Year 2 have enjoyed reading to Kites and Year 1 this week. Here is what we are covering next week:

In Maths, we will start our new topic ‘Statistics’ looking at block diagrams, tally charts and tables.

In Literacy, we will do some hot seating, pretending to be Rocket from our story Clean Up!.

In Science, we will learn about food chains and make paper chains to represent them.

In Art, we will make Venetian masks as we learn all about Italy for the day.

Please wear PE kit on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Hedgehogs have Forest Camp on Tuesday.

Year 2 are swimming on Wednesday.

We have Geography and Art day on Wednesday, Our country is Italy.

We have DT day on Friday. We are making smoothies. Please bring in a piece of fruit.

The optional weekend challenge is to write 5 facts about Edith Cavell. Present in school for 3 team points.
