Year 2 have settled back in wonderfully, and they all look so much older! Here is what we are covering next week:

In Maths, we will work on finding a quarter and a third.

In Literacy, we will learn the different parts of a set of instructions.

In History, we will find out about the life of Florence Nightingale.

In Science, we will discuss the difference between something being dead, alive, or was never alive.

In PSHE, we will think about our most important needs and wants.

Please wear PE kit on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Hedgehogs have Forest Camp on Tuesday.

Year 2 have swimming on Wednesday.

IMPORTANT: Our class photo is on Tuesday. Please can all children have a school jumper/cardigan. Long hair needs to be tied back. Please send in your child looking extra smart!

The optional weekend challenge is to choose your favourite insect and draw a picture of it in its habitat. Can you label some of the body parts? Present in school for 3 team points.
