Year 2 had a blast during STEM week. Next week sees the run up to Red Nose Day. Here is what we are covering:

In Maths, we will work on multiplying and dividing by 10.

In Literacy, we start work on our new book ‘The Koala who could’. Read along

In ICT, we will be researching Kenyan animals.

In Geography, we will identify key map points of Kenya.

In Art, we will create some Kenyan inspired animal art.

Please wear PE kit on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Owls have Forest Camp on Tuesday.

On Thursday afternoon we celebrate Red Nose Day with a funny spin on Sport’s Day. Please wear PE kit on Thursday.

On Friday, children can wear one item of red with their normal school uniform.

The optional weekend challenge is to make an array out of everyday objects. Take a look at this video for some inspiration: Arrays in real life. Present in school for 3 team points!
