Hello! This will be a very quick note to wish each and every one of you a very happy festive period! These past two terms have been gruelling at times, and yet your children have persevered with a positive, can-do attitude. They (and we) have earned a break!

Kahoot!

We played a couple of online quizzes this week using a website called Kahoot, and quite a few children expressed an interest in having a go at it themselves. Don’t worry – it’s completely free to use. There is an app version of it but you don’t need to download it – go to kahoot.com on a browser and sign up that way. They do try to sell paid subscriptions quite heavily, but there is no need to pay a penny! We hope you enjoy using it.

Homework expectations

Just a reminder that although TTRS and Spelling Shed are available for children to use over the holidays, there is no expectation from us for them to do it. The only thing we ask is that they keep reading and filling out their planners as normal, i.e. at least 4 reading sessions per week.

The only thing that remains to be said from all of us in Year 3 is, merry Christmas! We hope you have a wonderful time, and look forward to seeing you again on Monday 8th January 2024!
