Applications are now open for Year 6 children moving to Year 7 at secondary school in September 2024.

Families and carers (who live in Oxfordshire) should now apply online at: OCC Secondary Admissions.

If you are unable to apply online you can can submit a paper form: CAF (SECONDARY) 2024, by scanning/photographing and emailing to: admissions.schools@oxfordshire.gov.uk or posting to the Admissions Team at County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND

However, we encourage families as far as possible to apply online as it is secure, efficient, doesn’t go missing in the post, and changes can be made online up to the deadline date.

The deadline for receipt of completed applications is 31^st October 2023.

Applications received after the deadline will be processed later in the year and will be far less likely to secure a place at a preferred school.

Where your child has a catchment area school, they are more likely to get a place, but it isn’t guaranteed. If there are more applications than places, OCC follow the school’s published admission rules to decide priority. We advise that you list your catchment school as one of your preferences even if it is your last choice, to avoid being allocated a school a long way from where you live.

The National Offer Day is 1 March 2024, this is when you will find out which school your child(ren) have been allocated.
