Phew – last week was a lot!! On the plus side, two chicks have hatched and there are more eggs in the incubator, some of which we hope will hatch on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, our rescheduled Sports Day at 9.15am. The weather should be a bit cooler, but the children will still need hats and water bottles and sunscreen. They should wear T-shirts in the colour of their team.

In literacy the children will be writing about themselves and their interests and looking at words with er and est endings. In maths we will finish off our work on time and then move on to place value with numbers to 100. Geography and science will be the same as last week, but hopefully cooler!

Forest Camp on Monday is for the Fire and Earth teams and there is no swimming on Wednesday.
