Last week of term 4 already! We are looking forward to chatting with you all in our Parent Consultation meetings on Tuesday and Thursday evenings next week. 

In literacy we will be reassessing the children’s phonics ready for next term. We will also be sending home some links to short phonics videos so that the children can have a bit of daily practise (5-10 minutes) to refresh their memories over the Easter break. We will be writing about all the signs of spring that we have been spotting in science, and enjoying a variety of spring-related activities to get us all in the mood for Easter.

In maths we will be finishing off our current block of work on measuring length and height and we will be using our measuring skills to make Easter baskets and chocolate nests. We will also be learning about the Easter story and why we celebrate, as well as making cards.

There is no swimming next week and school finishes at 1.15pm – just in time for the Easter Egg Hunt!
