March! Spring at last, so let’s hope for lots more sunshine!
Thank you for sending in tubes and card in preparation for STEM Week next week, we are still collecting.
This week we will be continuing our work on space explorers by makingĀ fact files on Neil Armstrong and doing some descriptive writing about a rocket launch.
Maths continues on the theme of place value with numbers to 50: partitioning numbers into tens and ones, estimating and finding 1 more and 1 less. Useful practice – especially for 1 less – https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/robot-more-or-less
In DT we are building frame structures with cocktail sticks and plasticine and in PHSE we will be talking about caring for others and especially kindness. Thursday, of course is World Book Day, when we are dressing up as adjectives – can’t wait to see what everyone has come up with!
