This week we will be writing our letters to Santa and making masks to go with our sheep costumes. Costumes should be sent in this week (white T-shirt with white trousers/leggings or tights) in a named bag. If you are having any difficulties finding things, please let us know and we can suggest alternatives.

Maths continues the theme of addition and subtraction with some practise in recognising and using the + and – symbols. If you would like to support this at home, Topmarks has some very good maths games that the children enjoy such as ‘Daily10’, ‘Mental Maths Train’ (!), and ‘Hit the Button’. It is best to start with numbers up to 10 and only go further if your child is very confident. Here is the link:

In PHSE we will be talking about the skills you need to work with others, especially people you don’t know well, and the importance of listening to and considering another persons point of view and resolving disagreements without getting angry. This will be an interesting challenge!
