All of year 4 have had an brilliant first few days back at school. In literacy we have been recapping using adjectives and prepositions to help our descriptive writing and in maths we have been reminding ourselves of the importance of place value.

In the afternoons we have begun new topics in geography (Extreme Earth) and RE (Buddhism). We finished off the week with 4JM-KC getting reacquainted with Word and the importance of communication for shared working while 4RF-CH took a look at the classifications of animals for science.

Next week, year 4 will have PE on Monday and Wednesday, so please can you send your children in their PE kits on those days. Also on Monday is the Curriculum Sharing meeting which will take place online at 5:45pm. A link will be sent out for this on Monday.

There is no expectation for the children to complete TTRS or Spelling Shed over the next week, we would like the children to start recording their reading in their planners.
