Hello everyone,

Year 4 have impressed us with their setting descriptions of The Place Between. They used some excellent descriptive skills that really made us feel like we were there!

This week we are focusing on:

• Literacy: Starting our non-chronological reports on mountains, based on the research we’ve been doing in Computing.
• Topic: Locating mountain ranges around the world.
• Art: Creating patterns using tracing paper.
• PE: Developing our cricket skills.

Reminders:

• If the sunny weather continues, please ensure your child comes to school wearing sun cream, and brings a sunhat and a water bottle.
• Please check that your child has a pencil and a glue stick in their pencil case, as some are starting to run low.
• TTRS homework: There are now 5 games of Garage and 5 games of Soundcheck set. We’ve made this change as some children were finding the timed aspect of Soundcheck challenging. Please encourage your child to practise Soundcheck as much as possible—it will really help them in the lead-up to the MTC.
