This week, year 4 have done a fantastic job bringing together all of their learning about the eruption of Mount Vesuvius into a final newspaper report, they look amazing! For our Big Write session, we looked at a short film where a creature called the Dream Giver delivers pleasant dreams to children by cracking glowing dream eggs over their belongings, but a nightmare ensues when a dream egg accidentally falls onto an Aztec mythology book, bringing the book’s monstrous creatures to life. We will continue with this story next week.

In maths, we are wrapping up our place value unit and will be moving onto addition and subtraction where the children will be refreshing their skills on adding large numbers and exchanging.

Year 3 and 4 performed their songs brilliantly for the harvest assembly, well done everyone!
