Dear parents,
We have had an action packed week from Sports Day 2.0 to Sustainability day, it has been wonderful!
This week the children have completed their final phonics lessons, we will be doing phonics a little more informally next week. They have made great progress this year and we are really proud of how far they have come…a little practice of their sounds using their sound mats at home is always welcome!
In maths we have been nailing our number bonds to 5 and stretching up to 10 too. Next week we are going to be revising patterns, and we’d love to know if you spot any patterns at home this weekend.
Next week we are really looking forward to showing you our singing performance on Wednesday at 2:30. If you are able to come we would love you to join us, we will be able to let the children go home straight after the performance (which will last about 20-30 minutes). We can’t wait to see you there.
On Friday we have a half day, so the children will need to be collected at 1:15pm. Next week we will be reflecting on our year in Kites thinking about all the memories we have.
With that in mind, I hope you have received the message about the year book which is available to order now.
On Thursday the children will spend the morning visiting their new year 1 classroom, in preparation for September.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Snowden and the Kites team.
