Team Captains
After some really hard deliberation and careful consideration the Team Captains for 2012-2013 have been chosen by me. They are; for Grasshopper’s Bradley Withers and Olivia Higson, for Wasps they are Thomas Jordan and Emily Williams, for Butterflies they are Thomas Capaldi and Beth Ireland and for Ladybirds they are Mia Muncer and Jack Underwood. I have every confidence that they will proudly represent the school when needed.

School Council and Eco-Council members
The members of these groups are elected by their peers and will hopefully be in post by the beginning of next week. The School Council members promote the interests of the pupils in the school by reviewing the results of the Pupils Questionnaire, deciding which charities the school should support and representing the pupils in deciding how the school can be further improved for their benefit. The Eco-Council help all of us to reduce our carbon footprint, (use less energy) put litter in the right bin and help us to be more aware of the impact we have on the planet on which we live. The School Council staff members are Miss Tugwell and Mrs Conway and I am the staff member for the Eco-Council.

Curriculum Sharing evenings.
A very, very large thank you to all who attended their child’s Curriculum Sharing session. I hope that you have the tools that you need to ensure the success of your child over the forthcoming year.
