Year 2 have enjoyed finishing their 3D maps in art this week. Here is what we are covering next week:

In Maths, we will begin our ‘time’ topic looking at O’clock, half past and quarter past.

In Literacy, we will introduce our new book ‘Clean Up!’ by Nathan Bryon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jd7QYeuLis

In Science, we will create our cardboard bug hotels.

In Art, we will make some minibeast-inspired watercolour paintings.

In PSHE, we will learn about banks and design our own bank cards.

Please wear PE kit on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Hedgehogs have Forest Camp on Tuesday.

Year 2 are swimming on Wednesday.

IMPORTANT: Our Science lesson is creating a bug hotel. Please could you provide a cardboard box, tubed and pinecones by Thursday. We do already have some spares.

The optional weekend challenge is to write 5 facts about Mary Seacole. Present in school for 3 team points.
