Hello every one and well done for making it to the end of the first full week. We have had a lovely time in Year 2. Here is what we will be covering next week:

In Literacy, we will work on writing a story about our chosen Colour Monster. Focusing on using ‘and’ and ‘because’ in our sentences.

In Maths, we will do some work on place value charts and part-whole models. 

In Topic, we will compare Firefighters past vs present day.

In Science, we will label the different parts of a seed.

In ICT, we will identify the parts of a computer.

On Tuesday, Hedgehogs will go to Forest Camp. Please ensure all children bring kit and wellies to school.

On Monday and Wednesday please wear PE kit. Swimming is on Wednesday. 

An optional weekend challenge this week is to draw a plant that you found in nature. Present in school for 3 team points.
