I hope everyone has enjoyed the past week. The children worked hard making their Christingle’s and Christmas hoop decorations. Here is what we are covering next week:

In Maths, we will complete our end of unit Shapes assessment.

In Geography, we will identify the points on a compass.

In Science, we will learn about properties of materials.

In Spelling, we will complete a short spelling test.

On Tuesday, we look forward to joining a live online Farm lesson.

On Friday, we look forward to joining a live online Antarctica lesson.

I look forward to meeting with you on Tuesday or Thursday evening for our first parents conference. Please join with the list sent by the office.

Please wear PE kit on Monday and Wednesday.

We are pausing whole-class Forest Camp sessions while we rehearse for our Nativity.

On Wednesday, Year 2 have swimming.

The optional weekend challenge is to draw 5 2D shapes and their names. Present in school for 3 team points!
