We have had a good week and look forward to the trip next week. 

It is also theme week next week. Year 2 will be looking at the 1960s! Specifically, music and the moon landing.

On Wednesday we will do a final big piece of writing, recounting what we did on the school trip. For anyone who cannot attend the trip, please speak to your class teacher.

On Friday we will make a rocket. Please bring in small boxes, tubes, and any other useful recycling.

Please remember the following for the trip:

Arrive to school at 8:30 wearing School Uniform to leave at 8:45

• Sun hat
• Sun cream
• Raincoat
• Water

Collect from classroom as usual at 4:30

The optional challenge is to find 10 different 2D and 3D shapes around your house and make a list of them. For example: A cuboid cereal box. Present in school for 3 team points!

Mrs Skidmore/Mdm Baillie’s class has Forest Camp on Thursday. Please can everyone has trousers and a long-sleeved top.
