Well done to every one in Year 2 for an amazing STEM week! We had a great time exploring lots of different Scientists and taking part in a variety of investigations.
We are approaching our final week of the term, before we break up for Easter, and have lots of fun planned.
In Literacy, we are writing about Kenya using pictures of Kenyan people and animals.
In Maths, we are learning about temperature, mass, capacity and volume with lots of practical activities. Follow this link for some useful pre-teaching: https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/supermovers/articles/zj8njhv
In Computing we are presenting our Kenya Powerpoints in pairs to the class.
On Thursday afternoon, we look forward to an Easter picnic with lots of fun and PE games.
The optional challenge over this weekend is to create your own Debit Card. Include the fictional bank name, card number, expiry date, your name, signature and funky design. Bring this into school for a team point! This is linked to our PSHE lesson this week which looked at sensible spending.
New spellings will go into reading records, to be tested after the break.
We have Parent’s consultations on Tuesday and Thursday.
Happy Mother’s Day and see you Monday!
