Hello and well done for making it through the first week back at school. The children have settled in well and enjoyed telling us about all of the fun things they did over their Christmas break.

On Monday 20th of January at 7:30pm we will have our PTA annual general meeting which is open for all parents to attend. Practical experiences with money are also great learning opportunities. Next time you go to the shops, you could try giving your child some coins and they can work out what they can buy with it.

Literacy – writing a set of instructions on how to make a sandwich

History – looking at the job roles of a monarch

Art – working with clay

Science – reduce, reuse, recycle

PE – circuit training and marking players on the other team

Mrs Skidmore and Miss Keski’s class will be swimming

Miss Jones’ class will be doing forest camp this term
