Hello everyone,

Last week we enjoyed writing and performing our limericks – we had some very funny ones! This week we are exploring clerihews and will be writing our own. In Topic, we are finishing our Ancient Egyptian unit by looking at hieroglyphics. In PE, we are continuing with rainforest dances and hockey, and in Art we are creating Ancient Egyptian scrolls.

Reminders

• If your child would like to enter the Apprentice Design Challenge for the inter-house competition, please ensure their entry is given to their class teacher on Thursday.

• Paper homework on homophones is due on Thursday.

• There will be no homework set over half term – just four reads to be completed for the first Thursday back.

• Miss Stone’s second forest camp group are going on the afternoon of the 13th February.

• Miss Stone’s class will be swimming on 24th February.

• Miss Green’s first Forest Camp group will be going on 27th February in the afternoon. Please see list below.
