Hello Year 3 Parents,
Last week in literacy we began our new book, The Twits by Roald Dahl. The children enjoyed reading the opening chapters and wrote some fantastic character descriptions. This week, we are focusing on the play-script version of the story. The children will be working towards writing their own scene for The Twits play, inventing a brand-new trick that Mr and Mrs Twit play on each other.

PSHE
We have been exploring different ways we can look after our wellbeing.
Design & Technology
The children have been sewing Christmas decorations, which will be displayed in the hall for the Christmas fair.
Reminders
-
Please ensure children leave all toys and personal items at home, as these can easily become lost or broken.
-
If your child brings a snack to school, please make sure it is a piece of fruit or a vegetable.
-
As the weather is getting colder, please ensure your child has enough layers for breaktime, lunchtime and PE days.
-
Non-uniform day will be on Friday. We welcome donations for the Christmas Fair, including items for the bottle tombola, children’s wrapped gift tombola and the hamper raffle.
Thank you for your continued support.
The Year 3 Team.
