Year 6 – Week 5 Update

This week, Year 6 have begun the first of two weeks exploring poetry. The children have enjoyed reading a wide range of poems, selecting their favourites, and have started learning them off by heart in preparation for an upcoming performance to the year group. In maths, pupils completed the full suite of SATs practice papers and showed excellent concentration, resilience, and a positive attitude throughout – we are very proud of their efforts.

The children have also continued learning about the responsible use of technology ahead of Safer Internet Day next Tuesday. This week, they focused on how to take screenshots and how to access support websites should they ever need them.
