Year 6 Weekly Update

Year 6 have enjoyed their first full week together after completing Active Leaders training, and what a fantastic start it has been! This week, the focus has been on reading. The children had their very first taste of a SATs paper, and we were incredibly impressed with their concentration, determination, and hard work. It’s been wonderful to see them rise to the challenge with such enthusiasm.

As the autumn weather starts to turn, we’d like to remind families to ensure children are prepared for outdoor activities. On PE days (Tuesday and Thursday), please send pupils with a change of clothes and a change of shoes. This will help us keep classroom carpets clean and dry, especially when the weather is wet and muddy.

We’re very proud of how Year 6 have started the term and look forward to sharing more of their achievements over the coming weeks.
