Dear Parents
So we are nearly there.
There are a few details for tomorrow that are worth reiterating.
Friday morning at Woodlands involves a chaotic hour of trying to get everyone’s cases packed (in theory tonight, in practice perhaps not), and then five minibuses heading for the hills for the final mountain walk.
When we get back at around 2.00pm the children will have a quick snack. We will fill at least twenty bin bags with ‘lost’ property, and then get on the road by 3.00pm at the very latest.
After exploring the delights of Leigh Delamere services we aim to arrive up Grove Road (rather than down it) at 7.00pm. If there is going to be any significant delay we will let you know. We’ll send a letter, write an email, or perhaps, just perhaps, rely on the parental telegraph! Got to admit it is great!
Important
When we arrive, please stand inside the library grounds. We will let the children out gradually, probably by activity group, while the drivers unload the bags. If they need a hand, they will ask. Many thanks for helping keep everyone safe.
See you soon – and thanks for lending us your children!
