Lots of Nativity practise this week! The costumes (white t-shirt and dark leggings/trousers) will need to be in school in a named bag by Thursday 5th so that we are ready for the dress rehearsal next week.
Thank you for your continued support with reading – it makes such a difference. The children are given team points at the end of each week for reading, so every signature counts! We are also grateful that you have taken the time to fill in our toy questionnaires and we will be spending time talking about them this week.
In maths we are continuing to work on subtraction. Quite a lot of the children have some numbers that they reverse (which is not at all uncommon at this age) but if you would like to support your child at home then this is a very useful thing to practise. It does not have to be done with a pencil: anything that they enjoy – paint, glitter glue, felt tips, biros – it’s all good!
Forest Camp this week will be the Air and Earth teams and swimming is Miss Snowden’s class plus one group from Miss Bartlett’s class (the non-swimmers) who are swimming every week.
