Next week we are continuing with the story of  Three little Pigs, this time describing the Big, Bad Wolf. In handwriting we are practising the letters u and y: forming them with joining lines and noticing where to place them on the line.

In maths we will be using number lines and comparing and ordering numbers to 20. This game may be useful for practise and can be extended for those requiring bigger numbers: Caterpillar ordering

Science will be continuing to learn about materials and, in particular, how the different materials in our rubbish can be reduced, reused and recycled. We will be recycling some scrap paper to make some new paper of our own (we haven’t tried it before, so fingers crossed!)  Speaking of which, if you have any spare scrap materials, our junk modelling box would benefit from a refill! In art we are colour mixing and in RE we are thinking about what God might look like.

Forest Camp on Monday is for the Earth and Fire teams and there is no swimming next week.
