From next week onward everything will be about preparing for Christmas: Nativity practice,  making Christingles and the Christingle assembly, decorations for the hall in preparation for our Christmas Fair on Saturday 29th, and writing letters to Santa! We hope the Nativity letter was helpful, but if you have any problems with costumes please let us know. Thank you to those of you who have already returned the toys questionnaire – incredibly speedy! – keep sending them in as they make a really good talking point.

Maths has managed not to go Christmassy yet and next week we are rounding of our work on addition and subtraction before launching into shape the following week. We are swimming next week and the Fire and Earth teams are at Forest Camp on Monday. On a related note, now that the weather is taking a chilly turn, it is a good moment to practise zips as the children doing their own coats up (many of them can) really saves a lot of time at breaktimes.
